ACT! Hosting ... Why Consider It?

Clients will consider hosting their ACT! databases (versions 2008 or 2009) with us for one of several reasons: ACT for Web Hosting

They don't have a static external IP address or a server capable of hosting their own ACT! for Web.
They don't have a static external IP address or a server that can handle only the synchronization for all remote sales reps (since e-mail synchronization is no longer an option).
They want to outsource this IT function because they don't want to bother with the expense of setting up and maintaining their own server for web or sync access.

It's like having an IT staff that is totally dedicated to making sure your ACT! for Web and/or your ACT! Sync Server is up and running. We can even arrange to have certain reports automatically e-mailed to you on a regular basis about user performance.

Our contracts are on a quarterly basis. Keep in mind that you own the database. If for any reason, you decide to move your ACT! database from our servers to your own corporate servers, we'll send you an ACT! backup file within two working days of your request to place all of your own ACT! data back on your own systems where you can pick up right where you left off.

We're not hosting your database in our garage

We take your data security seriously. All of our databases are on an SSL layer with 256-bit encryption. Our servers are located in a Tier-One, Class IV data center facility (the highest rating possible in the US), designed with state-of-the-art physical and network security protection, disaster-recovery options, and a wide-range of environmental controls including smoke detection and fire suppression systems (FM-200 based) as well as redundant cooling controls.

Keeping the power on is not a problem here:

Three One-Megawatt dedicated diesel generators with over three days of onsite-fuel

All power to the servers travels through this redundant battery backup system. While they can power the whole data center for several hours, the power generators will power on after 3 minutes of no power from the local electricity company.

have dual power supplies that run on separate power feeds from the data center.
have at least two network connections to the network. There is backup hardware on hand and ready, in the event of a hardware failure.

Security is Number One

Getting to the servers is impossible, well for anyone other than our technicians! To access the massive server room requires clearance by the security officer, then with proper ID and the correct biometric scan you can enter the mantrap, then access the server room.
