Label making instructions were great! I will for sure use them this year for Christmas cards.
Thanks!
I would like to use this for making labels for Christmas cards. However when my contact shows Mr & Mrs Smith my label comes out “Mr & Smith” Why? Your quick study book doesn’t explain how to correct this. Thanks.
James, This is most likely because ACT! did not parse the name correctly. When you are in the Contact field, press the elipsis button at the right (or press F2) and see what is listed as the First Name, Middle Name and Last Name. Most likely, the First Name is Mr &, and the Middle name is Mrs. Just correct the First Name to be Mr & Mrs and make the middle name blank in this dialog and then it should all print fine on the labels.
So we’ve gotten to the point of setting up the correct fields and envelope size (No. 10) in ACT template designer – BUT – when we print to PDF of do a print preview, they are showing up 2 per page on 8.5×11 sheet.
Is there a way to print to PDF at exactly no.10 size?? 9.25 wide x 4.125 high
Thanks!
Dan, Change the paper size in the template to the same size as the envelope.
